MXBON Thread lockers are single-component, self-curing adhesives that completely fill the gaps between threads. They can replace spring washers, double nuts, and other mechanical fastening devices, thereby simplifying the product design. They also prevent screw fasteners from corroding, seizing, loosening, and leaking, consequently reducing maintenance time. They provide a permanent guarantee of screw assembly safety, enhancing the sturdiness of machinery.
Usage
- Removal: High-strength Thread Lockers can be disassembled by using either heat application or increased torque.
- Cleaning: Prior to the application, ensure the bonding area is clean. Use a cloth or steel brush to remove any debris.
- If oil residue is present, it must be removed.
- Blind Holes: For blind holes, it is more appropriate to apply the adhesive within the hole.
- Long Joints: In the case of long joints, apply adhesive to both the screw and the interior of the hole.
- Accelerating Cure: The curing process can be expedited by using the MXBON activator.
